TOLARAYE COOKS - MEATBALLS STEW | DINNER RECIPE

Hey Beauts!

In today's post, I will be taking you through a step by step guide on how to make a delicious meatballs stew. 
You ready? 
Okay, what do I need? 
  • An onion
  • Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • 2 Chopped Tomatoes
  • Curry Powder
  • Dried Thyme
  • Pepper powder (or 1 scotch bonnet)
  • 2 Know Cubes
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 4 Burger shaped meat
Step 1 - Gather all the ingredients you need.





Step 2- Split the burger shaped meat into three, and roll them into mini balls.


Step 3 - pour a little bit of vegetable oil into the pot, and leave it for 3 minutes on medium heat. 
Step 4 - Add the chopped up onions. Leave it for 5 mins to simmer on medium heat.


Step 5- Add the meatballs.


Step 6- Add 1 know cube. 


Step 7- Move the meatballs around as they cook. 
Step 8- When they all turn brown, make sure you split one into two to see if it is well cooked on the inside.


Step 9- Add the two chopped tomatoes, and mix it well with the meatballs.


Step 10- When the mixture starts to simmer, add the other know cube.


Step 11- Add a teaspoon of dried thyme.


Step 12- Add a teaspoon of curry powder. 


Step 13- Add a 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder 
Step 14- Add a little bit of water, and mix mix mix! Then cover it for 10 mins.


Step 15- Add a teaspoon of pepper powder (Scotch Bonnet is a good alternative if you don't have pepper powder).


Step 16- Add a teaspoon of salt.
Mix it all together and cover it up for 15 -20 mins so it can cook properly. 
Also, make sure you keep checking it every 5 mins!
